Green Bay, Wis. - MailFoundry, a provider of anti-spam appliances and solutions, has announced a new, patent pending technology to combat new spam tactics known as botnet e-mail harvesting and brute force dictionary attacks.

The company's chief executive said the new RedListing anti-spam layer, produced for its MessageIQ anti-spam engine, defeats botnet spam attacks with no false positives and realtime detection capabilities.

David C. Troup, CEO and founder of MailFoundry, said the RedListing technology would take the MessageIQ engine, which promises customers high kill rates and low false positives, to the next level of dealing with new threats.

MailFoundry's anti-spam appliances and subscription services are based on human intelligence spam profiles, and they serve more than five million e-mail addresses worldwide.
